steak tartare is raw steak, cut up or ground up, and spiced
with salt, pepper, shallots, chives, oil, etc. it's great.
especially when it is fresh meat, beef, deer, caribou,
salmon, tuna... it's so good, man. i'd pay 10 pounds to eat
a steak, let alone be PAID 10 lbs. sheesh. what a deal
that was.

FOIE GRAS rules the world. and i went to the new restaurant
where i will be working today (i went friday night with my
dad who is visiting town). I had the coconut-lemongrass
soup with somen noodles, red curry, and crab meat. man, was
it ever good. I mean... really really good. like, totally
good.

i also had the grilled octopus with cucumber fennel salad,
chipotle dressing and the filet mignon tataki with taro
fries and spinach maki. dad had the spring rolls with
ancho-chilli sauce and then the grilled pork fillet, roasted
root vegetables, with apple & sweet potato curry.

a steak out of the fridge.
