it's completely understandable that they would want to
spend so much time and money creating the illusion of
beauty.

meh most of them look ok without it--- but a little bit can
go a long way.

too much make up on the otherhand is quite disgusting.

agreed

although the contrast after having only seen a girl with
makeup and then seeing her without it, you realise just how
long of a way it's taken her

haha! Wow, you must be really bored! Women look great
without makeup. A little touch of well proportioned makeup
makes them glow!

I prefer a natural face most of the time. Makeup should
compliment a girls features, not dominate them. There is
nothing more horrific than seeing a girl in a powdered mask.
Goudy red lipstick is also a bit of a turnoff for me.

Eyeliner always looks good if it's applied properly though.
Big round eyes framed nicely does it for me every time.

I used to do model photography back at uni so worked with a
lot of makeup artists. You could get some amazing results
with very little actual shite applied to a girls face if you
know what you're doing.

Maybe I should wear eyeliner and buy some skinny fit jeans
too. Viva la emo!

Yay, Matmos!

Even though it is technically only half of Matmos, but just
as gay (in a good way). :)

Razorblade, you do seem to come across as a bit of a twat on
the internet, is this intentional? Apologies if so.

my gf looks absolutely horrible with makeup - it's really
strange. she has quite soft/smooth/clean skin, but with
makeup on its like you see contours of her face and
shadows/etc...

she doesn't even wear lip gloss/lip stuff - she's quite
lucky.

and that means less crap in my bathroom and she's ready to
go out in < 15min (even with shower). (that's my biggest
pet peeve/annoyance with girls - the bathroom time/mess).

she sounds like a keeper!

to clear myself. if i am going to be serious about this for
a moment. not saying this applies to all women, it's just
something i've noticed a lot with them. the reason i'm
saying all of this is that i've noticed a fairly common
pattern, at least perceivably in my deranged mind, that
women rely far too much on the cushion of beauty that makeup
can give them, which leads to them not having to bother so
much on being a quality person. i guess what i'm trying to
say is they neglect their inner beauty, which to me has
always shaped the face far greater than anything that makeup
can do for a woman. or maybe that's all bullshit and it's
always going to be about deception.

hate jewelery...and any shiny (metallic) objects - it really
turns me off...

make themselves more attractive - lol... i just dont get
it.

shiny objects for me is a bon3r kill3r

if i notice someone is wearing make-up, then they're doing
it fucking wrong. make-up should subtly complement your
natural look, not distort it. that's my opinion anyway.

when it's all over the place. Use in moderation, girls!

I'm all for the reserved application of makeup, there's
nothing wrong with accentuating a woman's natural beauty. It
is somewhat off-putting when someone you thought was
naturally beautiful ends up looking like a dog by comparison
(sometimes quite literally) without her mask. Women are
under intense pressure to be beautiful so I don't really
blame them, even the ones that use makeup deceptively.

I hardly ever wear make up. I wear mascara and eyeliner when
I can be arsed and thats about your lot. I'm too scared
it'll look fine and then I'll walk out of the door and I'll
be bright orange or something cos the lightings different
I agree with Brisk though, a little bit on the eyes can look
lovely. I look a bit like a fish with no mascara on cos my
eyes are really round or something, I dunno, or maybe my
lips are disproportionately big.. I'm not really selling
myself am i!? :D
I Think the main reason I put mascara and eyeliner on though
is cos it makes my lashes look darker and makes me look more
Greek, which I like.

All women could benefit from a light and proper makeup.

BTW one day I saw a gypsy girl around 19 going to a gypsy
party, her makeup was quite heavy, she literally looked like
a clown no joke! I saw her without makeup the other day and
she's drop dead gorgeous, just shows that even pretty girls
aren't immune to bad makeup job.

I used to work with a girl who was absolutely stunning,
blond hair, beautiful skin, great figure... but she stunk of
b.o.

She regularly stunk of b.o.

What's that all about?

So it's ok that they don't like me, becuase, why bother,
they're just men with tits, am I right or am I right? Women,
