sounds like you should have kept developing your music, i think there's a lot of promise in the track, even if it's somewhat fragmentary.
nothing wrong with putting your music online, puts your ego in check right quick.
100 years ago we'd be sitting around playing a fiddle and a piano, and/or harmonizing about lost love.
