Yah, Disjecta is Mark Clifford, who was in the band Seefeel (who put out records on Too Pure, Warp and Rephlex)
I don't think he's recording as Disjecta anymore, his current project is Sneakster.
Seefeel was one of my favorite bands while they were still recording. Afx did 2 remixes as well.
As far as the music: seefeel I thought started out as a perfect mix of traditional instruments and electronic ones, but as time went on and Mark took over, it became almost entirely electronic, leaning toward ambient. Disjecta's music is an extension of this. I haven't heard much of Sneakster, but there is a female vocalist back in the mix. I don't like it much.

One of Seefeel's other side projects ,involving everyone but Mark Clifford, was Scala. It wasn't really very good. I thik seefeel were are great band when they worked as a band. Seefeel is definitly a case of the whole being greater than the sum of the parts.
