Suggestion some good stuff, please.

To try to not waste people's time, I tried to search for the
last world music thread, but I couldn't find it. If someone
could direct me to it, that'd be great.

Thanks.

i'm not a fan of brazilian music man sry, would probably
love some brazillian percussion record but i never thought
to get any. i've tried to digest some hybrids like diplo but
i didn't feel them, gonna give another try checking madlib's
brazilian output and see

K, I will give Diplo a try and see what I think.

Cheers.

Yeah, I should download some more Madlib, too. I could have
seen him perform live, but decided to stay in my room at ATP
in 2007 I think it was... :(

what's your interest in brazilian music, tractern?

my favorite brazilian track of all time (though i'm not a
huge fan or expert of brazilian music) is:

Aldeia De Ogum by Joyce.

Hi pz :)

Um, Well I was looking through my world music folder and I
found this crazy compilation of brazilian music, though it
is modern sorta fusion, of brazilian, fun jazz e.t.c not
really what I want.

I want some authentic Brazilian music, as it is so upbeat
and cheering. :) Just like the soundtrack of City Of God.
^^

That's cool- I'll check out that track man, thanks!

I found a blog from the other thread about World music that
Mo gave me above, so I'll look there, too!

Wow... the first man I think of when I hear "Brazilian
music" is Nana Vasconcelos. World class virtuoso
percussionist. He's particularly capable on Brazil-native
instruments, such as seen here:

Nana Vasconcelos - Africadeus
