the first half: nice tune man... good "choppy" melody, full sounds... second half: hmm. if on an album i'd listen once out of curiosity but skip this part every time thereafter. but the first half is great! what did you use for the vocoder btw? |

all vocals from the temptations i wish it would rain. used the reason 4 vocoder. i made the evil mouse whisper by vocoding it with noise and lots of formant filter changes. |

I agree. First half reminded me a bit of that new 2000f & J Kamata 12" on hyperdub. Weird, twisted g-funk electronics/dubstep. Quite nice sir. Last half is too abstract tho and contradicts the funk of the beginning. Just extend the first half into a proper full-length and you're on to a winrar. |

I like the basic sound of the onest part but the whole track sounds like its a tape that's been left in the sun for 2 decades and having trouble playing. |

same as the rest, for me. quality track spoilt by some abstract shit at the end. got a flying lotus sound going on. which is right up my alley. oh and amp, please can you re-record 'goodbyes' without the hiss for me? i love it but the hiss really winds me up. |

that stuff at the end cut up over the beat would probably work. maybe if it were attached to that same gate as the synths, or playing off it somehow. i like that glidey vocoder thing earlier on a lot tho. |

oh my, thanks for sharing. Yeah, the lack of melody kinda loses me in the second half but the first half has got lots of goodies to it. I really like the distortion in the bass, the drifting synths and the vocoder working together. |

the second half is pretty weird.. i think if you could make it a bit more defined and funky, it could be a cool ending.. but only if it lasts around 20 seconds i guess. some abstract funky noises with the whispering things.. the first half is great, but i think maybe it is a taad to choppy in places, but still funky and nice. |

i agree. it was a different track but i just stuck it on the end of this. it was acompanied by a pretty chunky beat and bass but i cut it out. it's quite an interesting/creepy vocal so i could do something with it one day |
