2 weeks ago at BLOC. If you like oldschool electro mixed to
perfection, go see him. Put on your dancing shoes.

by the way, i'm not sure if there is a difference in what he
does live when playing as Dmx krew instead of as Ed Dmx.

Also, he might just as well play aphex and stuff. All good.

I already LOVE Dmx Krew, but this is scheduled as a "live"
show, so i was wondering if he will be singing and playing
synths on stage, or just mixing?

Seen him live several times, Ed's live sets are highly
recommended! We had him over last autumn and his live set
really rocked the house, he plays keyboards/synths, beats
from various sources and sings & raps on the mic. We loved
it! Go see him if you can!

Sire, that's exactly what i wanted to hear. I'm going to see
him no matter what, i just wanted to know what to expect.
This is going to be great!

Of course I went to see him. He was cutting up on his
favourite beats while the people shouted for more. He could
see my smiling face as he looked out on the floor!

Very nice concert. I went there alone, which was kind of
nice, but also kind of sad because I didn't have anyone to
share it and discuss with afterwards. This girl I know a
little did turn up, but I quickly moved away from her
because she was yapping away throughout the concert with her
drunk and ugly friend (He played at this “hip” venue
where people come to get seen and party, so the crowd was a
combination of nerds and vice magazine like hipsters...
sigh).

It was not completely what I had expected. He was playing
with an MPC and some other thing I couldn't recognize. It
was obvious that he didn’t just hit play, as some of the
things he did was slightly off in a very charming way.

He didn’t sing at all, and I was worried there wouldn’t
be any vocals at all, but about 15 minutes in, he started
rapping over his hardcore electro through some kind of pitch
correction device. He played the most delightful version of
“Computer Rockers” that really made the crowd go wild.

He did NOT, on the other hand, play anything with him
singing. I would have liked if he had been just a tad more
crowd pleasing and play stuff like “Good Time Girl, “Can
U Feel The Power” or “I’m All Alone”, but he
didn’t. I suppose most of the people who where there
wouldn’t have recognized it anyway.

Before the concert started, Ed wandered around the venue
like a tall pale ghost, but since I wasn’t drunk at all, I
resisted the temptation to go over to him and be an annoying
starfucker.

The track was "Computer Interface" BTW, BY "Computer
Rockers".
