been following this site for a couple of weeks now, interesting concept: take a film poster, blank out the text and remove various parts, vectorise anything else and put the image up for the public to guess the poster. the guy has even gotten a limited run of them printed out professionally |

well i'm not gonna even pretend to know what i'm talking about. all i'm gonna say is that i understand that getting a small run of professionally screen-printed posters is not going to come cheap. hanal would know more about this than i would. either way, as said previously, money is not required to participate in the guessing game |

btw, anyone who thinks these posters are "expensive" should actually see the end product for themselves. got mine in the post this morning, and i'm seriously pleased with it. as far as i'm concerned, it's art. if you don't agree with my opinion, then go and chew Big Red |

it is for artists with an expensive lifestyle .-) but lots isnt really, like paying 60 € for a poster-size quality print directly form the artist would be ok for me if i had just a little more money and i knew id have this in a room for a long time. internet-prints have become quite cheap actually but its hard to come by a motif in high resolution... buddy works in an ad-agency and can get me quite good prints for free if i ask nicely and not too frequently. lucky me! |
