Actually, I kinda do, tbh. There are a lot of other great artists that I discover on here. AFX is pretty undoubtedly general music god, but still- the new album isn't something I imagine to be better than anything that he has released before. Saying that, I will still probably wee myself as I download it the night it comes out on Soulseek, then listen to it a few times every day for about a month. Even if it's complete shit. I will go into denial and feel erotic love toward it anyways. Yup, come to think of it, I am very excited indeed about the prospect of a new album being released that I actually know will be by RDJ for once, as it'll be released under the name Aphex Twin, which hasn't happened in a looooooong while. :) |

actually it took years, many years. It wasn't that I spun Quaristice a couple of times and got this way. I have no hard proof of this (no official hearing test done), I can still hear people that talk to me in conversation, but in some settings (crowded room, for example) it can be hard to catch some words. |
