You don't need an Austrian fool to look at things for yourself. His films are crap at best, he should write a blog of a few sentences and forgo loads of crap.

Your answer is paradoxical, because these films are very documentary-like.
That allow to see things for oneself.
But they are even better than normal documentaries, because there is no the usual journalistic fast-paced bablering.
So you have time to think about.
Also it deals with psychology, which is rare in documentaries
Maybe i'm a bit slow ?
I suppose The Lumiere Brothers' First Films, that i had the chance to discover on this previously cited forum, is also crap ?

Seidl is good. I like both Hundstage and Import/Export. He's an Austrian austere with a sense of humour, kind of like Thomas Bernhard.
