left 4 dead is real good, but after months of only 4 maps, it can get kinda stale pretty quick

Putting an hour or two a day into Killzone 2 right now, and I play Warhawk split-screen every weekend for a few hours. I'd put some hours into SF4 if I had any more but there's too much shit to do in KZ2.

I didn't buy left for dead, my friend kept bugging me but I never got around to it.
Ophecks, I see you have an MG avatar, have you played it online yet? Its pretty much all I use my PS3 for.

I played maybe 10-15 hours or so but haven't played in a while. I really like the game but Konami has badly mishandled it with their proprietary crap. I bought the first expansion and barely got to play it... it was hard to find a game that actually had the new maps. That dissuaded me from buying the other expansions and I shelved the game.
I despise the fracturing of online console communities that ''pay-to-play'' content causes. At least with Warhawk there's never any problem finding tons of games on all three expansions, but I don't have the same confidence in MGO to keep paying. The new map in Eastern Europe looks so awesome though...

Yeah I know what you mean, I bought the first two xpacks together and was disappointed to find only a game or two running them. I seriously think that those expansions should be free, I mean they are just maps from the single player game, plus I was really hoping for new weapons that anyone can use, not just the unique characters.

Just thought I'd pop in to say that Dawn of War II is awesome for PC, you should buy that and I'll play multiplayer with you. Also Steam has Unreal tournament 3 on sale for 11.99 until March 15th. For 12 bucks, you get the full UT3 game plus the huge expansion they just released which adds tons of stuff.
I stopped playing TF2 a while ago. I played TFC religiously when it crossed from quake over to HL1, and I still feel that TFC is superior to TF2, even 10 years later. Call of Duty 4 is fun, but after obtaining max rank and unlocking all the guns I got bored, so I've been playing World at War on and off. I prefer the weapons in WaW to COD:4.

Dawn of War II is another game my friend kept bugging me to try during beta but never did. I also tried to play UT3 over the weekend since steam was giving out a 3 day trial, too bad it took me 3 days to download the game thanks to steam's crusty servers. By the time I got to play the game I played for 15 min before getting the blue screen of death and when I restarted my computer the trial was over! I am still thinking of buying since it is only 11.99 but I am also jobless right now and money is sorta tight.

If you ever do end up getting DaWII, bump this thread or send me a message on Games for Windows Live to IcthyCreature, that's me.
Also UT3 has been working fine for me since the patch so you might have more luck with the full version. Steam extended the $11.99 sale to March 22nd, so there's still time if you decide you want it.

Left 4 Dead is highly addicting... agreed the 4 same maps get old, but the action is alway intense and fast paced and the random spawning helps keep it fresh (still waiting for more maps!...)
COD:4 amd TF2 is still on my play lis, as well as although I only play them once in awhile now. Agreed that TFC is truly a great classic
Waiting for Resident Evil 5 in a few days, the demo is fun on CO-OP online play if you have someone descent to work with
