if i burna load of divx avi (which i downed from a p2p) onto a blank dvd (
can that dvd carry a virus onto another machine or does there have to be an .exe or dll or something on there for it to be spread? can the dvd burning program hide a virus on the dvd by hidding it in a VOB?
:)

unlikely, but viruses can hide in folders and be copied unnoticed. if the avis are clean and you just pick them by hand it should be safe.
to be certain run a scan on the finished cd/dvd
