this is a pretty cool app considering it's free, there's nothing missing that i'd actually use in photoshop. although i'm not really into all this stuff... it's fun. |

Yeah it's so feature complete now that I can't be bothered pirating photoshop. Though for vector graphics I still use Macromedia Fireworks, cause it's easier to resize things. |

GIMP scripting is fantastic. I've seen it do some really good things just being poked by a perl script. Sites like flamingtext.com just pipe your input to gimp and make a nice "wordart" doodah for you. i think the CYMK stuff is not up to scratch so DTP people don't like it(?) but it does everything I want. For the price, it's hard to complain. |
