When Adam(as) came to earth, all the animals could speak to each other. Some people say they still can but they were angry because of what Adam(as) had done/ Because of him, they would die because before that, they didn't die,they just kept on living but creation changed when Adam(as) came to earth. So they made plans to attack him, but Adam was still sleeping when he arrived, he didn't even know what was going on (similar in a way to the sleepers in the cave) when Shaytan saw him sleeping, he spat on him and said 'because of you, I am going to be punished' It was supposed to be cos of Shaytan the animals were attacking too, but Allah(swt) sent Gibrael(pbuh) to clean the spit off Adam(as) He took it off him where the belly button is nowadays! And from the spit and piece of adam, Allah created the dog. The dog guarded Adam from the animals and is our bext friend today. |
