I always find myself a bit underwhelmed by Ceephax' albums.
I really like the first two: the debut a masters diploma
from acid varsity, the second an innovative experiment
moodily transgressing genre boundaries. But when released on
Rephlex I can't see that the label founder's and the
braindance god's forecast of him as the next big name in
electronic music has been fulfilled. His live energy is
mindblowing though, a near psychotic experience. I really
look forward to the forthcoming live album.

i wasnt too pleased with volume I,
so i didnt get volume II...
is it any different, any better,
or just more of the same?

cause i love ceephax
and ive been enjoying all his releases,
but i could never get into vol I,
too harsh or direct or undetailed or dunno...

it's more 707, more fun melodies, and you gotta love tracks
like Loner D+B, which ceephax can deliver so nicely. It's
not one of his best, but atleast better than vol 1.
