i'm pretty sure some of you know about my trip to the
psychiatric hospital.

How should i take it that a doctor there referred to me as a
pretty intelligent young man.

at the same time, my best mate siad he thinks i'm
"advanced."

but i feel as though i dont understand what they mean.

Judging by your post, you seem to understand what they mean,
and also judging by your post, your seeking some sort of
reassurance from an online community. Its time to start
believing in yourself, not the words of those around you.

peace.

The characteristics are rather close, it's better if you
read about it than me explaining since I can't type straight
at the moment.

You seem to be advanced with technical stuff but struggle
with basic primary social functioning.

I know someone with asperger's he can't read other peoples
emotions well, like facial expressions and tone of voice,
it's like a imbalance in the brain, he also gets obsessed
with something, for example normal people have hobbies and
there is a time and place for them. someone with asperger's
will bore you to death with their hobbies and interests and
be so obsessive about them to the point of madness!

however someone with this illness can appear to be normal,
but really it is very stressful and can cause pain and hurt
people who are close.

I don't think pulseclock has it though, it would of been
recognized from an early age,

maybe you are bi-polar, in extreme cases this can be similar
to psychosis , it's like a sever depression, but with other
symptoms like visual/audio hallucinations

man i've got so many people in my life who suffer from
mental illness, i'm surprised i'm still fairly normal...

instead of what they really believe which is that you're
fucked in the head
