to myspace.

these demos are from a project i'm looking to spam around
and hopefully get a proper release for. there are maybe 2
or 3 others to make an ep, and then maybe 5 others for
another ep or to put together as an album, depending on how
it all plays out.

a couple i spammed previous versions here before, but they
have been significantly updated.

thanks. yea the emma cora stuff is more indie/post-rock
influenced so it has a beard vibe, but check that out too,
there's a link. nothing new on there tho.

I like the first demo the best. Have you ever considered
gating your drum samples to give it a more crisp/definitive
sound? Just a thought I had while listening...

TroutMask: The 1st is the best. The material is the newest
and it is the one I would say is the most finished. The 2nd
one is an older track, and it shows in some parts, but I am
attached to it so I keep trying to update it and make it
work. The 3rd is cool where it is at but it is still early
for that one so it will still get a lot more done with it.

I took the 2nd one down and will probably take the 3rd down
soon too and just leave the 1st for now. I put some other
old tracks back up.

Also yea I use gated drums sometimes for other stuff.
Sometimes I like crisp beats and sometimes I like them
blended into the textures, just depends.

Futureimage: Cool, yea I think I had your artist page as a
friend from before but not the label one. Yea feel free to
contact. I won't be ready for a while yet, just wanted to
get some feelers & get some feedback.

i like mnglmnt but needs something to pull it together, it
feels like a breakdown in drukqs or something that never
quite kicks into the good bit.
ooh i like the marionette one better...oh nuts now it's gone
too cx for me ha.

the samples are the newest ones i just posted there. didn't
post whole tracks cause still working w em. i'll go for the
good bit, if i think i know what u mean, on another project,
i need to get a little more challenging and weird w this
stuff. there are some solid grooves in those samples there,
tho.

I understand the way tracks come together in strange ways,
this is a good example of how an abstract idea can string
off other ideas. i think it's pretty creative, i like the
transitions. it's like a quasi disco style lol. reminds me
of matmos a bit

Marionette Decadente had some really awesome shit going on.
Great sounds.

MNGLMT started off a bit annoying but it got really
interesting once I settled into it. Nice and upredictable,
your stuff always has kind of a unique twist.
