I'm pretty excited about the remake of The Time Machine (1960), since the old version is a total classic. Has anyone seen it yet? ratings?

I didn't care for it too much. Maybe my hopes for it were just too high. I would rate it a solid 6.243/10. Could be worth seeing on cheap night at the movies otherwise I'd say wait till it's out on video/dvd.

Rent the 1960 movie, you're better off. The Time Machine remake reminds me of the Planet of the Apes remake, very nicely done with special effects and all that, but not as much substance as the original. The best thing about the movie is Jeremy Irons, unfortunately he doesn't have very much screen time.

i live most of Tim Burton's films, esp Edward Scissorhands and The Nightmare Before Christmas. He's a really talented director, shame about POTA though, thats really tarnished his reputation. It'll be interesting to see what he does next though.

i think time machine looked like shit.
I predict that episode 2 is gonna suck even more than episode 1. george lucas knows that the star wars movies can be complete crap, and everyone will see them anyway....
