Heard From Telegraph Lines (More of an interlude but meh)

*ALSO, can anybody name off some groups that sound similar
to BoC or have a sound that can induce nostalgia like BoC?

well-polished gems.

"can anybody name off some groups that sound similar
to BoC or have a sound that can induce nostalgia like BoC?"

Funny enough, as I was ready to say 'no', I listened to King
Crimson's debut album, In The Court of the Crimson King.
While on the whole their style and sound is very different
from BoC's, just listen to the flutes and guitars on songs
like "I Talk to the Wind" and you will discover the sort of
uncanny mood that boards of canada do so well. Of course,
that's partially due to the fact that the album dates back
to 1969 (remember that BOC have a song of that name?), but
that sort of slighly melancholy but also psychedelic hippie
mentality goes down well to any BOC-o-head.

Then again, I have yet to listen to geodaddi, so my faves
might change.

I betta fall asleep listening to 'a beautiful place',
though- I might have an overwhelming urge to go to America
and become amish by the morning. :)

A Beautiful Place Out In the Country is actually about the
crazy cult out in Waco, Texas known as the Branch Davidians.
"...come out, and live with a religious community in a
beautiful place out in the country..."
