I have a thing for levels with loads, and i do mean LOADS,
of spikes (the fridge level in Adams Family 'Pugsley's
Scavanger Hunt' is a very good example), and any level that
has fire and/or lava in it... I love those

I love to be challenged, the more spikes, close ceiling
jumps, moving platforms and falling block objects, the more
fun i have. That's why i love the Addams Family games, they
seem to stuff this shit in there plenty. Especially
Pugsley's Scavanger Hunt on SNES, they kind of over do it on
most occasions, but hell it's fun!

Every stage from Sonic 1 for genesis, EXCEPT the labyrinth

the legend of the mystical ninja (goemon for the snes) has
some pretty tough side scrolling bits. really enjoyable.
