The first network games I played were on the Mac.
nettrek bolo spaceward ho!
Spent many happy hours playing these, I'd rather play bolo than most of the newer games.

Did anyone ever get into the really old school (pre-internet) BBS games. Like Barren Realms Elite or LORD? Wow if someone recognizes those I'll be impressed.

Those names are familiar, but I never played them. When was this? I was playing Island of Kesmai on Compuserve around 83 or 84.

This was like hmmm 90-92 maybe? I can't even remember. It was when I got my first 486 DX2 which was the bomb back then.

I remember having a 486/66DX and then replacing it with a 486/100 - you are right they were the business in their day

The oldest netgame I played was Marathon, back in 94 when they let us have Macs instead of PCs. =(
