the fact that, at the time at least, there was no adblocker
plugin for opera was one of the reasons i changed back to
firefox after maybe all of 2 days.

that and the fact that it's pretty shit and its userbase is
made up of proud, overzealous, defensive twats.

don't think i've ever clicked on an ad unless i've felt
sorry for some blogger who's all like "click on the ads,
people! i'm broke as a joke!". and even then i've closed the
window as soon as i've opened it, earning the blogger in
question 0.001 cents or something...

one of my buds who works as a webmaster for a law firm says
that tyou used to be able to make decent money off adsense
back in 2003-2004, there was a crash because so many people
jumped on the bandwagon and surfers got sick of seeing so
many fucken ads everywhere. he went from making about $600 a
month from some techie advice site to less than $100 because
of market saturation.

anyways... web ads are pretty gay, imo

i used to love opera but for some reason it won't let me

uninstalling it and nothing works.

Opera is quite nice in a sort of sterile way. It has no
soul. Opera mini is by far the best mobile browser I've
used. I doubt fireferret could ever get a low enough memory
foorprint for a phone. Iphone browser is only for posers.
