never listened to flying lotus, is it good or is it sanother wannabe?
what about the lasts months, any great record in the electronic music scene?
after buying the last squarepusher I am a little dissapointed, but never really gave it a good chance
lately I just listen to drexciya or donald´s material, I guess I am in that mood
so I wonder if the last dj stingray is worth it

a great one is fennesz - black sea of course.. if you like ambient :)
mr oizo - lambs anger is growing on me, some of the tracks are catchy.
hauschka - ferndorf is good
murcof - the versailles sessions for some excellent electronically processed avant garde shite
last step - 1961 is awesome imo..

yep, flying lotus is good (los angeles is what i hear), that kind of music that grows with every listening, original style, organical construction and etc...
id say ratatat - lp3 is also great, nice melodies and construction of tunes, a bit daft punk and even boc sounding, but yet with a particular sound... happy mood.

yea, listen to indeksical advice too :)
lp3 is a strange album, even if apparently it is not, i love the sounds they use, the mood they get, even the sense of humor...
i didnt understand some construction of the tunes, tho, but with the time, ive learnt to appreciate them, a bit more conceptual than expected. like, for example, that tune that its like being in the water and then suddenly diving and then going out again... i used to dislike the tune, cause i loved the out-of-water percussion and they destroy it too fast, but now i understand and i like.
on the other hand, its a bit abusive how they use almost the same instrumentation in all tunes, what becomes a bit tiring, and i end up enjoying the most the tracks that are really different in base style, the hiphop one (hilarious) and the elektro one (amazing).

by now, you should have checked justice already.
the whole daft punk/oizo/ed banger niche are getting sounds out of machines which put 80% of the idm-scene to shame. it used to be, or at least that's what i'm trying to convince myself, that the idm-scene produced sounds no-one else did. and that the quality of the sounds was way beyond anything in the electronic/dance scene. nowadays, it looks like they're still living in the previous century, and the rest of the scene is way beyond of most of the idm-scene.

ratatat is sublime, one of my absolute favorite albums of the year.
daft punk/justice/ed banger rocks pretty hard, altho i feel like justice need to do something before sebastiAn trumps them in my head.
amon tobin's recent work is pretty excellent (released as monthly joints).
and sf glitch-hop is seriously worth getting into, particularly glitch mob, who are a group of djs consisting of edIT, kraddy, ooah and one other guy whose name i forget. all of their mixes and solo material are booty shaking awesome stuff.
