Blossoming?

Hey, i'm sorry if this topic comes off as immature or
self-indulgent, but i realy feel alot different lately.

I've recently been through alot of werd psychological stuff,
and i'll just say that i went to a hospital.

I've been really scared cause i've been thinking that i
might be going in a direction that's not good for me.

but i feel i've also been almost blossoming or growing up
and becoming more aware, if that is even understood in
"reality"

i really feel like i am growing up or becoming a man, like i
am actually feeling it, and im 19, pretty late i think.

now i dont think im gonna like emerge into this magical
creature or anything, or that the whole world revolves
around me, but its like i was living in this tunnel vision
room, or like full of mirrors, and im just starting to see
life through new eyes and its almost overwhelming. Like
almost feeling like an old part of me dying, or old things i
used to carry around with me are going away.

do you think im just another dumbass american who doesnt
know how to be a man without questioning every little thing
and just being thankful?

i am serious too, i know , i am embarrased

Don't be embarrassed about thinking, most people don't think
enough about anything serious. In fact, most people are so
fuckin thick it's unbelievable - and you don't want to be
like them.

There is nothing magical about this world unless your
perception is mangled. What you see is what you get. Don't
delude yourself, live in reality - then you'll be as healthy
and responsible as this society allows.

not being snide, just making the point that "maturing" can
be overrated and sometimes you just gotta dick around a bit.

right now, in this thread.

Hey. Hey kid. C'mere.

word of advice: don't let your trip to the hospital label
and define you, if you know what I mean.

Also, whatever revelations and realizations you have are
perfectly valid beautiful expressions of you as part of the
universe becoming itself, but don't expect the Most
Bitterest Messageboard Ever to appreciate that.

Now go make me a sandwich. And the tomatoes better not be
runny this time.

runny this time. "

No, the tomatoes part was just me being silly. But if you
want to make some music when your finals are over, that's
cool too. :-)

That achewood strip is beautiful.

You sound like a very sane mad person, don't be hard on
yourself.

You could try meditation- you may feel its silly and perhaps
not something you would every choose to do, but it can be
really helpful- enlightening even. It could help you 'find
yourself', or find your place, or whatever you prefer to
call it.

Why meditate?

'how to' vids on YouTube

I hope you find happiness through whatever means you can,
dude!

That was a great comic, man!

I hope the grammatical errors were intentional- they added
to the style of the comic, I guess. =)

Cheers for posting, it was cool!
