sounds like a wierd PS1 game soundtrack, because of the low
string and wierd "Ba-dada bo-dodo bo," thing

remake it with better sounding instruments. for me. cause i
said to do it. now.

Nice, maybe drums could use more volume (at the part with
squarepusherish breaks) and that 2nd or so melody line that
uses a different sound might be slightly 'off' a note too
low at parts but I can't really tell.

Monotonous. Boring sounds, boring harmonies. Right for the
bin.

pulseclock: I'll see what I can do. But I can't guarantee
anything. My policy is to try different stuff out, and not
"dwell" to much with "old" tracks. ;)

w M w: thank you. I'll check and see after that off note.

DirtyPriest: Thanks for listening, though.

It was not to come of as a dick, i just try to say me honest
oppinion. It just didn't do anything for me. Have you got
some other music somewhere, so i can get an idea of what you
are trying to achieve?

Well, if you're interested I have several tracks at:

http://www.zebox.com/saidimfox/music/

I used to put out music here at xltronic, when I was
younger, and I've recently felt an urge, if you will, to
play around with sounds again. I really don't have any plan
as to what I'm trying to achieve with the saidimfox-persona,
other than for the sake of enjoyment, though I've heard
people on the board comparing some of the tracks to monkey
island, and megaman.

If you don't like what you're hearing, please tell me. Thank
you for your time.

I'm sorry, i listened to a lot of your tracks, but nothing
really stood out. I'm not saying they are bad in any way, it
just lacks some nerve of some kind. It's too anonymous.

But please keep trying, there is some kind of potential in
there.

Ah, well. :)

Thanks, though.

This one wasn't exactly my jam either... you did a good job
rinsing the drums, but that one "yeah-ah" break or whatever
(Think Break it might be called? Basically it's the amen
with that one vocal sound) has just been overused to me. I
can't even listen to the squarepusher song where he uses it
anymore. Also the melody didn't really develop in an
interesting way over the course of the track.

But they can't all be winners, and some of your stuff has
quite a pleasant mood, so keep up the work! :)

Thanks, Wolfslice.

But, yes, I actually agree with you. The version of the
break I have's called think2 (there's four of them),
and drill n' bass in overall has been rather 'abused'. But I
thought, what the heck, and tried it out anyway. And making
an excuse at the top of the spam for making a so-so track is
not really my style. I'd rather have the folks here at
xltronic telling me what they think, instead of having them
listening to my whining. ;)

Now I'm just sitting here, waiting for some kind of
inspiration to fall down so I can get busy with sounds again
(apart from some boring homework).
