i can admit when im wrong, and when it comes to these guys, boy was i wrong. this record is unbelievable and actually unlocked strawberry jam and water curses for me. i have had them forever and could never get into them. wow. maybe ill explore feels next. but its gonna be awhile, i just can noy stop listening to merriweather. unreal. |

I've kind of resisted listening to these guys, but i've listened to this album and find it pretty interesting. What other album should i check out--that isn't such a "dense shitwall" style? Tung songs? I do see the brian wilson comparison. sounds like a mix of wilson, with dubish sub-bass and some Residents thrown in. |

ok i've been a retard about this album, it's great. i feel like coax. it was hard to get into for me, listening to their old stuff a lot. but it's really good, damn. fuck my first, half-assed listens. |
