It improves your life in many ways. But it is easy to become dependant on it and not go outside or do anything else more constructive.

The reflex of GOING ON LINE instead of reading book, doing laundry, cleaning house, looking for job, hanging out with real life friends, buy underwear, get haircut, go to dentist, find better job, prepare food for week, talk to real life women, and or go on trips seems to happen far to much (for some people not all).
When I don't have internet, I'm reading, and hanging out with friends. Having a good time, writing music, doing laundry and cooking my meals. When I'm in one of those internet addiction periods I don't do anything nearly as productive as I should be.
Like actually taking the 4 minutes out of my life to answer this post !

internets are on par with pots for de-motivating, and they go together easily to. luckily my internet at home is via a shitty pay as you go mobile broadband, so its so slow its upsetting to use it for long periods. unfortunatly i'm at school now wasting time on zilty rather then doin my works..... damnit.

Now, if xtube.com was my girlfriend, youtube was a tv show, xltronic was a book and i had a dog named Google, THEN i'd spend less time on the internet.

the internet is far more interesting than talking to a human. i struggle to talk to humans now - they live a world of tv adverts, bargain bucket philsophy and celebrity culture.
they even annoy me if I overhear them talking in a lift or on the street. humans talk so much shit these days its unbearable - everything they so is so predictable and everything they do is so fake and mechanical.
I prefer to talk to children, they have far more natural intelligence - and at least they're cute and their breathe don't stink. I reckon there's an epidemic of dum disease in Britain, so many adults breathe stinks. Anyone else find that?

The internet is essential in life.
Sites such as Om nom nom nom and Gay Chubby Dating are proof enough that the interwebs are being used to their full potential.
