That is amazing- that's like the first office I wouldn't
mind working in! Truly modern office.

Pretty cool that they made all that money just from a search
engine (amongst other free things) free to consumers.

The money comes from advertising, hence the google web
browser (has no adblock like firefox).

The office probably suits the sort of people they employ,
i.e. highly motivated free thinkers. I think if you changed
every office to that people would do sod all work, but if
you're primarily coming up with ideas then I'd imagine it
would be a good environment to think.

here in the bay area/silicon valley it's pretty much
everyone's dream job to work for google. i think i only know
one person who is actually living the dream, but i also
