That is amazing- that's like the first office I wouldn't mind working in! Truly modern office. Pretty cool that they made all that money just from a search engine (amongst other free things) free to consumers. |

The money comes from advertising, hence the google web browser (has no adblock like firefox). The office probably suits the sort of people they employ, i.e. highly motivated free thinkers. I think if you changed every office to that people would do sod all work, but if you're primarily coming up with ideas then I'd imagine it would be a good environment to think. |

here in the bay area/silicon valley it's pretty much everyone's dream job to work for google. i think i only know one person who is actually living the dream, but i also thinks he works from home. sucker. |
