anyone know any albums with such sounds?

best i can think of right now are richard devine and
shapeshifter, but they are sadly not what im looking for
exactly.
just looking for cold, dark, ALIEN and abstract, ambient..

trying to make some myself but i guess i need some
inspiration

maybe a journey into a hive, where small critters poke at
your face with their organic sticky baby tentacles, and
luminous webs of alien goo that you have to push aside that
make small humming noises, and deep inside theres a large
blue orb of ooze that pulsates at the end of a dark tunnel

Ambre
Christoph Heemann
Mirror
Nurse With Wound (select releases)
ELpH vs Coil & Time Machines
The Body Lovers & The Body Haters

Sure there is a beat, noise, or melody in some of that but
mostly icy drones i think.

oh also check out Jim O'Rourke - Disengage

a lot of that is from several years ago when i was listening
to more dark ambient/drone music. not sure what new stuff
is good.

Keith Fullerton Whitman - Playthroughs
...no beats or melody and very ambient

Kit Clayton - Laterla Forces (surface fault)
...this album is composed from samples of rocks colliding
with each other

Mike Dred/Peter Green - Virtual Farmer
...some beats and some noise, light on melody but definitely
very Alien
