Which beginner tracks should I show him?
He likes dnb, fast music
Mtstmichael/michaelsmount will be on there, so will come to
daddy
what other good tracks can I use to introduce Rdj to this
kid?

That's a bit of a tough one- a lot of AFX is heavy and
intense, but not so much high tempo.

Flim?

You're not a cop are you? If not, then welcome to the
board!

If fast music's his thing, pick out one of them big tracks
from the RDJ album, you know the ones. The Tuss is also a
must. Specific tracks? Let me look up the names..

I need more i dont want him to be turned off because aphex
is somewhat intimidating

Aphex isn't really good for D&B fans, mate. Surely you know
that! =)

He may like Analogue Bubblebath if he is into Industrial at
all. it is a bit jungle too, I guess.

I know what you mean- if I could I would share the love of
Aphex Twin with everyone I had ever met, I would. If AFX was
a religion, I would join and devote my life to the IDM God.
haha =D

the best way to get a someone into some music is letting him
discover by himself

the only way for me to play aphex to most of my friends
is by not telling them its him :)

Exactly. It's not really a good way to let someone hear
songs you like and think he/she will like too, because of
course, no one shares the same interest as the other human
being. Also, never say that a track is wonky or a bit
chaotic, eventhough you like it... the other party will then
automatically find it wonky and chaotic as well but will
immediately not like the song.

yep, maybe the best way is to just have a playlist
with some aphex inbetween. when your buddy jumps up
and asks you what that was you can tell him;
if not then it may not be his matter of taste.

tie him down and beat him with a length Fraxinus excelsior
while playing afx tracks loud, maybe he'll start to like the
tunes then, or die trying to like them.

This may sound crazy, but try showing him some stuff from
SAW1. If he doesn't like Delphium, there is no hope.

down load some tracks that he will defo like even if its
hard style DnB but rename all the tracks as aphex ones and
put em on CD for him, then you can tell people ur friend
likes afx even tho he doesnt really. i use a similar
technique when i send pictures to my on line girl friends...
