the first record i ever bought with my own money.

the first time i heard bulls of parade changed my life. i
couldn't have imagined such awesome sounds coming out of one
man's guitar before that. tom morello was probably one of
the most important artists to my artistic development.

spectacular in its own right, but to be honest, i consider
it their weakest album relative to their other releases.

Good memories. I loved how that album sounded compared to
their first one, it was so thick and meaty, they really
slathered on the sound.

i can still play every track from this album on guitar,
effects included. i spent many of my teenage years
assembling a setup emulating tom's.

memories memories indeed.

I never really got into it- it's no self titled.

Not bad, not great. 'Vietnow', 'Revolver' and 'Tire Me'
still hold up.

'Without a face' really does it for me.

I don't think it is particularly a masterpiece or anything.
It kind of takes me back and pumps me up. Makes me
want to drive over pedestrians.

haha! Yeah- it's pretty GTA, thought I guess that's not how
it's intended to have been.

Blah, blah, blah, blah...
(then comes the good part)
Hey revolva! Don't mothers make good fathers?

revolver is possibly one of the most fun songs to play on
guitar ever, esp when "the good part" comes in.
