many Italian horror movies by Bava, Fulci for their mostly
cheesy but also disgusting qualities in that beautiful
70s/80s style.

quarantine x 10 (so far)

i feel like i'm living in a quarentine
so many restrictions, nowhere to go
but i can use my imagination and go
wherever i want to go, go, go, go ,go.

^ happy emo poem of the day.

now move along.

oh c'mon. it probably is. i liked dark water, the ring
wasn't terrible, grudge was okish, but this really seems the
kind of film america is going to make into something very
bland and overdramatic. quarantine
should i watch the remake of pulse (what have they done?!)
just to have something to really be angry about?
quaranteen

when i saw the trailer of [Rec] i thought 'this looks
interesting' so i downloaded it. After having seen 'A Tale
of Two Sisters' a few weeks ago i thought i could handle
another proper scary movie but this was something else.

For some reason this movie had me in a state of paralysis
from the first 'action' scene onwards and laugh if you will
but i'll admit i was frightened by it and by the end (as i'm
typing this) in desperate need of friendly music and lights
turned on everywhere in the house.

rec was poor.
i was quite dissapointed. nothing on blair witch. everything
in it felt very showy. 'pablo!' or whatever it is she keeps
screaming just dosn't help to build any tension. i was
looking forward to this.

watched nuff films:
rec - really meh, damn!
Ju On the curse - very good
shutter - everyone loves this. it was alright.
976 EVIL - fucking ace. the kid, the one from frightnight,
was great.
the ruins was quite fun
house 3/the horror show starring bishop from aliens and that
guy from blade.
my fav was tales from the hood
