listening to music). weed never affected my ability to
think or anything like that. the only negative side effect I
ever saw was my lack of motivation.

how the druggingtons affect perception of sound / music is
badly under-researched as far as i can tell, more on

indeed, i was told that i performed better stoned.

in fact i seem to recall a women who used to give her
husband it for that reason, until he died, and the reports
suggested the death from toxicity of weed...or something
along those lines.

mohamed if you gotta take THC ...eat it.. or drink it.

you get more high for your money and you dont mess your body
up .you can lighly fry skunk in olive oil ( under 150 deg c
???? or somthing? google that i read it a while ago) to help
release the THC into the olive oil let cool and drink the
oil, you wont need much.

it's not that simple with eating / drinking, if you've
already got a decent tolerance from smoking you have to use
far, far more than usual to get any effect

and big fuck out to drinking olive oil - thc is very soluble
in ethanol, vapo or a strong tincture's probably the best
bet if you want to save yr lungs

cheers freqy, that could be an alternative in case i quit
smoking tobacco

i'd not be worried for music hallucinations (on the
contrary), i was thinking at lack of vitality that gives you
during the week. if i'd have some, i'd have to smoke it
until is finished, and it's like jumping continuously from a
condition to another without really knowing why.

Marijuana used to make me more motivated and make things
seem more real, perhaps that's why I quit using it. I'd
have to be smoking pretty regularly to be able to indulge in
public without panicking. Never was much of a social
smoker.

me neither. but is that reality the real reality, i mean
altering senses could make your mind even more confused than
the way it is by sober. some say you go deeper but i'm not
convinced.

Uh...how bout everyday? Just use it for more practical
reasons, and use it for what its supposed to be used for.
Won't lead to any problems. All good stuff. It's not habit
forming. Better than cigarettes. And can be enlightening and
used as a creative tool. All depends on what you're smoking
it for.

been a regular (read: pretty much daily) smoker for almost 8
years now, and i don't see myself quitting any time soon.

certainly helps with many thing, including dealing with my
parents who are visiting me right now. i'm out and waiting
for my dealer to call me back before they're done with their
nap or whatever.

oh, and as an alternative to freqys gross, stupid as piss
method of releasing thc into olive oil then DRINKING it
(EEEEWWWW!!!!!):
grind up some herb, a half gram or so should prolly do if
you're not that heavy of a smoker, and much it into a small
lump of peanut butter. put this peanut butter between a
couple ritz crackers (of whatever medium you want to use)
and toss it in the oven at just over 350 f, or under 200 c
for around 15-20. remove, let it cool, eat, and zonk out for
a few hours.

if you do want to drink it (quicker metabolization is a plus
of having it dissolved in a liquid) you're far better off
grinding a bunch up and letting it soak in some high proof
alcohol (151 can do, but if you can get up to 190 everclear
it's all for the better) for a day or two, agitating the
tincture every so often.

if you think weed is addictive try... well, any other drug
on the planet, and you'll see it's not.

people who claim they are addicted to marijuana are pathetic
sons of bitches with no will power.

would i say i have a habit of smoking weed? yeah, but i also
don't have to when i don't want to. every few months i'll
detox for a week or so. getting stoned is much more
interesting when you remember what sobriety is like.

doesn't help.

i quit the shit some time ago.
been smoking for four years every night,
then quit for half a year and was quite happy with it.
started again and got even more addicted to it,
then suddenly had to stop, because i was having
serious issues with it. unless i wasnt drunk while smoking,
i just had bad trips everytime...
so for me this is finished.

regularly for 16 years, much less but still regularly for
the past 5 years. I love it. It allows me to fully
concentrate and enjoy music, movies, reading or doing
something creative without being distracted by the
trivialities of everyday life. It also enables me to
meditate on and put my own life in perspective which can be
usefull when it comes to understanding different issues and
making decisions about stuff going on in my life. I have
found that moderation is a good thing and overdoing it does
not make you enjoy it more. I can't really imagine ever
quitting it 100%...

Oh, I should add that I'm really talking about the brown,
solid version of the the thing that is more common here in
Europe.

it's really too bad hashish is far more common than the
actual buds over there. i like some hash every now and then,
but that stuff knocks you out too hard for daily use.

a nice bong rip of some fresh greens on the other hand can
perk you up and get you ready for the day :D

yea bad hash is bad (hash) whereas good homegrown is good
(homegrown), and hash is nastier to smoke too.

i've been sober pretty much for 7-8 years, except for the
occasional spliff... it alternately helped me and hurt me,
so i don't think it's panacea, but it's probably a lot
better than any of the legal highs out there, both in terms
of toxicity and quality.

I actually prefer H over M, both the taste and the high,
which often is more mellow and relaxed than some of the
intense highs you can get from m'jana. And it doesn't smell
as much either so you can do it wihtout the whole
neighbourhood knowing what your up to.... But I guess the
preference is determined by what you are used to...

shit man, if only that were true! dunno bout rest of europe
but the hash that mostly floats about uk is pretty poor
stuff, the only benefit of that is that its a little more
manageable for havin a smoke while at work/school. I'm stuck
in an area where green is hard come by, and have been
chonging alot of rocky, i mean ALOT more than i should be
because i'm chasing the MJ high. but I'm embarking on an 880
mile round trip to go see my mom/score this week, all will
be well.

i remember smoke terrible rock hard shit in the uk. i <3
hashish. give me any day. i function perfectly on the hash
high (then again depends on quality on quantity). i want to
stop smoking cause the bush weed drains my energy and i dont
like myself on it anymore. i sure as hell can't read when
stoned so really i just want to do more productive things.
im still gonna do the lazy saturday afternoon in the park,
just not every damn day. i broke up with my previous
girlfriend cause she had a problem with me smoking, she had
a point, i just didn't want to listen.
