i used one sample recorded from my laptop's speakers while watching the youtube clip. i can make out my birds making noise in the background. the other mix was better, but clearly i was set up. the kid already had been working on his for a while obvisously. i don't have time for that kind of bullshit. thats why i just wanted to compare our music on the web. my mix was on 6 sec sample of track chorus refrain. three drum loops and one noise gate on original sample used to trigger oscillator bass. all mixed using maxmsp in an 8 channel software sound mixer. total amount of times and was under 20 minutes |
