Zeitgeist: Addendum

Anyone seen it yet?

Quite a good view in my opinion. I would highly recommend it
to anyone that has 2 hours of free time.

Someone on Coast 2 Coast mentioned these films tonight and
then I remembered seeing this thread a little while before.
I have not seen any of them as you can tell, but I am
interested in watching the one about the Federal Reserve at
least.

Do you recommend watching the first one before the second
one? Or does it really not matter.

yes i've been overwhelmingly disturbed all weekend by it.
not sure how possible that utopian society they are talking
about is. there will always be people that will find a way
to take power and control others. i mean what do you do
about them. if you take control of them, you just become
them, and then you're the bad guy. its very tragic that i
don't see it happening, because i would love to live in a
place like that.

Use that hour to think about your current life and make it
more efficient to create more free time in the future.

Thanks llc, didn't know this one was available already.

also id like to recommend you "loose change"
watched that yesterday. deals with 9/11.

Indeed both films are good. If you don't mind some really
out there conspiracy theories, you should check out "behold
a pale horse". Kind of nonsense, but still interesting if
you are into theories like what is portrayed in these movies

9 11 Mysteries is great too, dealing with the anomalies of
9/11.

haven't seen the entire documentary yet, but the beginning
seems to travel mostly familiar grounds. i'm a bit
disappointed to be honest

waiting for them to release a proper xvid torrent on their

k, seen it.
i think its a nice summary of what goes wrong
in this world. a lot of it was no big news, but i think
everybody on this planet should at least watch
this and think for himself if they want to contribute
to corprocay and the monetary system in general.

the smallest and easiest way to start is to change your
energy supplier. did that a while ago...

i find myself in the same dilemma

at the end there are suggestions but nothing seems like it
would actually make a difference.

will be up on the 10th. i hope to look there for ideas.

as they say, if you're not part of the solution, you're part
of the problem.

what to do after watching these videos?
spread em,
discuss,
call to boycot wherever possible.
letting everybody know comes first.
maybe something can develop out of that.
i wonder why none of the patriots with guns
went crazy yet. they should be angry, realizing
they ve been fooled the most, fighting for lies...

I just watched the 5 parts on The Federal Reserve, and I
would like to know what you feel is conspiracy specfically
with the central banking system. I will agree that
somethings said are rooted with their injecture, but a lot
of the people mentioned, the quotes used, and the companies
mentioned are factual.

Thanks for making me aware of this. I saw the first one some
time ago and it's scary how fast I forgot about it and fell
back into old routines.

I found this one to be better than the first, it actually
went into some solutions instead of going on and on about
the problems.

I've always been the type to basically just realize the
issues, understand them, hate them, and simply expect others
to solve it, even if solving it meant joining a movement. I
know that's bad, but admit it, a lot of us are like this.

All I can really say is that it would make me happy that if
within my lifespan, I could see a class 1 civilization form.
I would be overjoyed to see positive change on a scale that
big.

I remember with the first Zeitgeist, I showed everyone I
knew. But nothing much came of it, but how could I truly
know that? For all I know, it spread to many people, some of
which might actually have done something about it to the
best of their abilities.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, and I try not to be. However
after seeing this, it's had to not subscribe to this train
of thought. I see nothing fictitious about it and that's my
logic, plain and simple.

So what am I going to do? I'm just going to show everyone I
know this, I'll check out the zeitgeist movement site when
it launches in a couple days. Although what I'm going to try
hardest is to not forget it like I did the first.

i was the exact same. but after seeing this one i can't seem
to get it off my mind!

all that shit stuck in my mind from the moment i saw it and
i really can't get rid of it is the problem. it's almost
obsessive. it really bothers me because i tend to take the
entire concept in at once and it's too much. it's
overwhelming and difficult to handle.

anyway i'll fucking deal. so i inadvertently brought out the
awareness and high concern in a very good friend of mine. i
didn't even direct the video at him. i'd posted it on
someone else's myspace and he ended up watching the whole
thing (original zeitgeist). now we cover each other in
awareness of current events. very cool and positive
experience.

it's worth watching, but be careful about what you take in
as truth, because people are good at manipulating, i don't
always trust the sources where they get their info from

yea, the first one had some credibility problems with some
of the sources (Jordan Maxwell etc.), but it was remarkably
well edited, if that's a virtue dearer than truth, for a
low-budget maverick.

I'm also glad that all this stuff I thought was pretty
underground is becoming more mainstream all of a sudden.

But as soon as it becomes a movement, you better do your
research and think it out for yourself before jumping on any
bandwagon... FOR EXAMPLE, I wouldn't take what they said (in
the first Zeitgeist) about the monetary system as gospel
truth. All this anti-Federal Reserve stuff is interesting,
but it's usually based on paranoid isolationist fantasies
and a belief in the gold standard, or some fixed idea like
that. Sooooo, I just think there are many problems with this
generation-defining hype.

But I'm still waiting for an official torrent release, so I
can't comment on whether the sequel's better or worse.

you could go and build earthships. they're off-the-grid, the
house harvests rainwater, filters, purifiers and recycles it
through plants, etc, effectively growing food for 4 or more
people, wind+solar to produce electricity, thermal mass for
heat.. so its off the grid, no water+electricity+utility
bills and you've got your own foodsource.

this is one of those things that the truth-out-people never
care about. its like it somehow just doesnt matter to them,
more important to draw devilhorns on this or that person.

earthship biotecture.

grab garbage warrior the DVD from either a webstore or a
torrent. checkit.

then look into buckminster fuller.

I have a feeling this whole country and all of its split
ends are coming crashing down, the only good thing is that
we will hopefully do it to ourselves, and leave everyone
else at bay.

Earth-homes are a good idea, for people who still want to
ignore the problems that are affecting more than just us.

the housing infrastructure + utility-grids are one of those
things that keep us perpetually paying for electricity etc..
i dont know what kinda "ignoring the problems" it is to want
to disconnect from the grid and be self-sufficient.

well what about the people all over the world who are going

this whole system of "protesting" "boycotting" stuff is so
boring. try supporting something for once, try being FOR
