does anyone like mira? I think that One on One is great!
At first I thought it was nothing special, but it's full of
surprises...my favourtite tracks are sparrow,
isabella, rotine(the dancing bear),schymk...I love the dreamy
atmosphere of that album..

haven't gotten much into her own music, one on one didn't
strike me right off the bat.. but this remix she did for
accelera deck is amazing

i saw her dj live a couple times and she plays weird shit on
occasion but it's interesting to hear; also married to one
of the autechre guys (she probably just wants all the
equipment to fux0rz on heeh)

Yeah, she's married to Sean Booth from Autechre. He's pretty
hot.

And yeah, she doesn't love HIM, she just loves his kick ass
electronic gear. Even I'D marry the guy if I could get my
hands on the stuff he uses...

for me One on One is full of intuitions and innovative
beats...she is going to be better than her husband...

I've got the Prickle Ep and it's great. It took me a little
while to really get into it because the music shifts so
slowly. It's hard to notice the changes and complexities the
first couple listens.

her music is very weird, you have to listen to it carefully.
that first track on on on one is pretty superfluous, imo.
rest of the album is good stuff.

Donkey Punch? I figured him more of a dirty sanchez kind of
guy.

At first I hated the first track. It's a collaboration with a
warp group called disjecta(never heard of)...it's quite an
orchestra before the beginning of a concert...

yeah but it goes on too long, imo. in this case, a shorter
song would've been better... it collides with the sound of
the rest of the album

I think it fits well with the rest of the album, it doesn't
fit back to back with track 2

her music is really good, really really good, but her
vocals...they don't exactly "compliment" the music.

well she is mainly a musician.I think she should do as
Leila and ask other people to sing...even if i prefer the
instrumental tracks
