whats the club scene like in Philly? you play out anywhere? I'm interested in looking into booking laptop etc sets, original and DJ, in Philly & DC/Baltimore area. I'd be interested in organizing a show. I can probably bring in some other acts from mid-atlantic area too. Anyone else in the area thats been involved in booking and promotion I'd be interested to hear from you too. |

i havent heard much from Philly in a bit, though I'm sure most of the worth while shows are prob non-pay gigs. DuranDuranDuran used to do a lot of parties, but he's in Germany now I think. Perhaps a myspace search for Nintariman and/or Vytear might be beneficial.... they are still up to stuff and might know about more shows than I do. Other than that, there's Northstar, Khyber, and R5 productions (the latter being the organizer type). Let me know how things go... |

ok thanks for the leads i'd be ok with doing non-paying gigs at first for exposure. the khyber is a pretty cool little club. my friends steel compass drive north played there a few years ago and i think i may have seen the legendary pink dots there.. |
