Does anyone know where to go to dl videogame music...like from snes / genesis days? Early nintendo / sega stuff. That would be great. Im listening to Fly Battery Zone from Sonic and knuckles I think...I think thats the right game. It just needs more bass.

Zophar.net!
SNES- Get Super Jukebox, brilliant program. It play's .SPC files, ripped right from the games! And the site has a HUGE collection of music libraries, missing almost nothing.
GENESIS, NES- Meridian Advance. It plays .GYM files (Sega) and .NSF (Nintendo). Again, it has every game you need. Listen to Akujamo Dracula, the Japanese Castlevania 3... might have the best soundtrack in a game EVER!
Problem is, you need Winrar to ''unzip'' some of these music files, and it's a pain in the ass... but Super Nintendo files don't need Winrar, thank god. I had a hell of a time figuring out how to unzip the .GYMs and .NSFs.
I listen to classic video game music almost as much as I listen to ''real'' music... I'm weird.

This is without doubt the best site - the files are all in MIDI format. They sound identical to the originals!

Hey, those midis are pretty cool, especially the Castlevania ones, of course! But it's no substitute for the real thing. Get thee to Zophar.net!
