i feel like something.... well at the mo i've liked miike takeshi's imprint/ichi (rewatched last night) but am sick of the broken jap time line typical of most of takeshi's films. I hated rob zombie's halloween of course, so anything with that style of post slipknot 'scary' will be hated (saw). ooo i can't think. do it for me i trust you! |

dogville took me by surprise when i first watched it. i remember putting it on to play and almost instantly turning it off because of the fact that it's not done on a proper set. about a year later i decided to give it a proper chance. after about 20 minutes of watching i had completely forgotten the film was in 'art house' style. in fact, what i believe to be the director's intentions were coming to life as my imagination filled in the gaps. this is indeed a very clever film. it kept me guessing and i honestly can say i was gripped throughout. some parts may seem slow, but get a few drinks down you and it'll be ride you won't regret. |

the first one is better. niether are really scary but the atmosphere is great. the raft is still really great, wish it was a bit longer. |
