For the first time in my life I want a record player.

LAZY_REASON

Anybody heard this? Is it a good reason to buy a device I
will use only several times in my life?

Advise

when i had the time, the records are great, nowadays im
happy to spins the cds in the car/work

but i guess you can still dick around the house and spin the
records, so yeah, get a freekin' record player, even if you
dont get a new one, pawn shops always always have them for a
good price

I was actually more excited about this set of 7"s than about
the perspective of owning a record player. Actually, I have
one, but its Soviet quality wouldn't give justice to any
kind of music, even my father's Yngwie Malmsteen.

I have it. The Alva Noto remix of Planet Rock was hilarious.
Most of the covers are actually quite good and completely
unexpected. It'll probably be a bit of a collectors item in
time.

Got it from what over the night. I love more than half of
the remixes and the rest is at least good. Moreover, it has
a nice continuous flow and actually benefits from being
collected in one folder.
No new record player for me then, I'll wait for the mid-life
crisis.
