Nice one! So many memories. Among many other c64 classics, I
was a fan of the forbidden forest sountrack.

this music always sounds real melancholy to me.

I love the SID sound. I used to have an Amstrad CPC6128,
which had a nice squarewave sound to it (or white noise
too), so everything was a bit squarey and had a certain feel
to it. Not as squelchy and good as a SID though.

This lot use the chip I was on about, the general
instruments AY-3-8912. SIDesque little square wave jobbie,
lovely sounds of my childhood.
Nice tunes too.

so far as I'm concerned, digital music hit a peak with the
SID chip. I will always love that sound.. and I wish games
made today still had music like that.

Dune seeing and hearing this makes me want to buy
an Amiga 1200 again.

Ok here's a few SID tracks now, Golden Axe,
Turrican and lastly Last Ninja III, they sound way
better on the real hardware but it's better than nothing.
