OK, with parcel tracking, does "Delivery was attempted"
mean "Delivery was attempted and failed", or "Delivery was
attempted and we havn't heard if it was successful because
the vans not back yet."

Your help is appreciated.

i'd say it means failed, if they're waiting on the van to
return it'd mean they couldn't be sure it had been attempted
so i doubt they would say so

I was hoping it might mean "the van has left the depot".

This has become a saga.

I would also say that it means that the delivery attempt was
failed due to not being able to deliver the goods for a
reason such as the delivery man's eye falling out when he
opened the door of the van, a common problem in upside down
land due to a lack of gravity glue.

I understand your reasoning, however, the delivery is due to
occur in Northen Ireland, therefore nullifying your
proposition.

Again, your input is (somewhat) valued.

Fuck that man! The IRA blew the leg off the delivery man
with a home made BOMB!

I would not be surprised with the way this project has gone
:)
