Hello, I was wondering if I could get your opinion of this
track...I've been working on it for weeks and I'm not sure I
like it anymore. I find portions of it boring. Please let
me know if it's worth it to continue.

any comments good or bad are very much appreciated!

A bit of a warning, I use amen for about 20 seconds, for all
you amen haters.

while I do hate the amen break, you did a pretty good job
rinsing it.

Should have kept the beat going longer and built some more
on top of it

Cool thanks for listening, I was actually thinking of that
as well...but I'm getting sick of the amen so I just wanted
a quick crescendo. Maybe I'll push that section towards the
end.

Thanks again!

Im glad you like it! It's been tough for me to balance the
crazy parts with the slow melodies...something I've been
struggling with for the whole song.

I remember, the aphex ones...I had them forever, I finally
broke down and started wearing them. Sorry man, any
t-shirts you've had your eye on lately?

Not bad. A little contrived perhaps. Enjoyable enough
though.

Thank you sir for listening, I really appreciated it!

This has been a bit of a struggle for me, I love the amen
break and drum and bass, but the music has been so
over-saturated with bullshit its boring (and I'm only
contributing to the problem). I almost feel stupid for
writing music in this style. Oh well. I really appreciate
the time Mr. Braindance.

It is definitely one of the better examples of the style I
have heard recently.

Bittersweet stuff, I don't mind your amen usage here at all
as theres way more to the track, the amen is only crap when
someone base a track on the break. You cant base a track on
a break can you? you need music and you really have that
here. I find this way more enjoyable then vsnares classical
stuff for example, this isn't just way out there and you
seem to be somewhat in control of what youre doing, in other
words it doesnt sound simply wanked out.. I like the
background fx etc aswell, the only thing I don't really like
about the track is the vocal samples, the girl choir'ish
stuff is sweet but the talking etc, make it sound a bit too
much like an "breakcore/drill/whatever" chiché. Did you
sample classical music for this track or did you use some
plugin or something? just curious. Good job!

Thank you _awt_! Your words are very kind and as with
everyone who listened I thank you for your time. I think I
understand what you mean about the spoken words, they really
feel kind of enduser-like, but they were recorded from a
friend of mine poetry reading. Outside of the one shot drum
samples and singing, everything is from reason and logic. I
used a weird violin sample that plays right over the choir
singing, thats slightly off key, I was hoping to create some
kind of tension before it went back into a beat. Besides
that I played everything and just tried my best to make it
sound as real as possible.
