which do you use to listen to your records? A turntable? an
old fancy record player?

That's my "deck" of choice too, at one point I had two, I
wasn't about to attempt DJing with them, just circumstance,
but I ended up giving one to my mother-in-law (ooooer) so
she could play her old Boney M records.

doh, i had a friend that bought one of these from Best Buy.
i threw a crappy Jake Slazenger 7" on there just to see what
would happen. you could see a physical change in the way
light reflected off of the record groove like it was cutting
into it a little. terrible machines.

I've got a Fisher Price gold and cream.
In "Eat the Document", Bob Dylan is seen with the same exact
model.

Technics SL1210MK2.
However I've not been able to use it since I bought it as it
produces a constant buzz when powered on. Not a hum - it's
earthed properly - it's a buzz. And I can't get rid of it
:/
