I almost board 2 buses that went off of the road in the past. They drive like maniacs (most likely because they are so use to the 8 hour routes). Then our transport minister is like "Yeah we need to place some security checks at the bus station..." Why because you can't spend anymore money at the airports?! Did you fill them up with xray's and database's so much that you can't buy them anymore ? It's CORPORATE WELFARE. He wants to take my money, give it to his friends in the industry, an use this freak attack to open the door to the NEED FOR MORE SECURITY. How about, let me carry a knife on board too ? What a bunch of fucking pussies on that bus too. If I were taking a bus home and some asshole started stabbing the guy beside me I'd have punched him in the throat!!!!!! AGGGGGGGG !!!!!! YOU NEVEERRRRRRRR See bus accidents on the news, it's so rare to be able to find them. They report on them the day it hapens and then it's snuffed out. There are so many of these gray hounds that crash it's insane. I'm gonna make a documentary or something man this really pisses me off. I take these busses almost every second weekend. ALSO, they never play the movie on the bus wtf. |

ah come on man... everybody would have been in a state of shock at what had happened before the victim even died, half the passengers were probably ASLEEP when this happened. you can't blame the other passengers for this, they were just regular joes going about their regular business when some crazy asshole starts flipping out. it wouldn't even register until the guy was dead, you don't expect an unprovoked knife attack coming out of leftfield. give these people a break, they will probably be scarred for life by this event, they are victims too. |

Anyway, if I see an 18 year teenager old getting stabbed in the throat by some pyscho I'm going to fucking do my best and try to stop him. Call me crazy. I just talked to one of my co-workers about this, I'm baffled how ballless our society is ! How can you defend not doing anything ? It wasn't wolverine or someone with super powers, it was some skinny fuck who started stabbing a kid ! It's hard to wrap your head around it, hard to fathom what you'd be thinking at the moment something like this was happening. I'd like to think I'd try to be a hero and jump on the guy's back or knock him out with a deft lob of my PSP, but I just don't know. Naturally it's a frustrating image, the thought of that kid getting killed while everybody else just piles out. |

there probably was nothing you could do. by the time you could even comprehend what is going on he would of been dead already. 50-60 stabbings, and police came in 10 minutes. thats like like 2 stabs a second. plus while your on a greyhound ride you don't really have axcess to a weapon immediatly. its hard enough to walk around on a greyhound let alone knocking down a fuck like that i don't know. i just hope i never have to go through a situation like that. imagining it fucks with my head enough then having witness it. i feel bad for the children who had to see that mess. |

Well seeing as he went straight for the throat, how would you even save the poor guy, he's already going to die from the first stab. just saying.. This hit close to home for me. I use greyhound alot and have taken routes this bus did. Also slept with my headphones on. It's debilitating to comprehend the fear going through the minds of the victim and victim passengers. Given my strong sense of vigilante justice and massive balls, I'd have rushed the guy before the police got there and probably stabbed him to death and cut off His head. I dunno, it just fills me with rage. 18? Fucking hell. We were all 18 and we know how young that is. |

what would you I do in this situation? its hard to say really, yeah i'd like to think i'd be a hero like the rest of us would, but in truth i dont know. reminds me of the song 9th and pine by less than jake. Hell jus yesterday i'm hangin around waitin to pick up and theres some dudes just hassling little groms, i didnt say shit bout that then, i even walked away thinkin man those kids think i'm one of those assholes thats given em grief, un fortunatley those assholes jus happen to have some sweet hook ups, thats why i associate with em. So if i wont even stand upto some dudes makin a kids life a little more difficult than needs be, what will i do when i see some dude gettin stabbed right up on the bus? I really dont know. |

It's not being a hero or not, it's just doing what is best for everyone. Who knows, he could have hijacked the bus and went on a crazy driving spree like in GTA, or he could have gone outside and stabbed people. Maybe someone was left in the washroom, alone with the guy while everyone is outside. I'm sure we would all be scared shit less, but this seems like it would be a little easier to do something then to just ME FIRST out the door. I take several gray hounds/ SMT buses every weekend, or second weekend. Lot's of money spent on them, bringing me back to my original point, I think the fact the transport minister is capitalizing on this to bring up the idea of AIRPORT LIKE security is really low, considering how many accidents that fucking bus company covers up. I'm not saying I'm wolverine or anything, it just seemed like a large group of people could have stood up to this guy judging from the profile they gave us. |
