Possible Spoilers

I saw it again last night. The voice still doesn't bother
me. In fact, for me there is this 40's-50s detective noir
feel with his whole batman performance. Like in Begins
where he says "I'm someone to rattle the cages," and then
throws those polaroids down. The way they fan out when they
hit the surface is so subtle but perfect. For me it works,
and the voice fits in with that thing.

Of course when the Joker does the growl, well thats a little
different. Batman is still a good dude, so his feels a
little put on, but when Joker goes from his laughy voice to
saying "Look at me" in that demon voice, it is pretty spine
chilling. Reminded me of Red Dragon a little bit with
Fiennes and Hoffman for some reason.

Even Dent fits in with the noir thing to me. Toward the end
when he is standing behind that bar and takes that shot.
Just the way he holds his gun, and his suit and mannerisms
nails it.

Why it is #4 on IMDB astounds me but it was an excellent
movie.

beans.

i usually think action movies suck, but this was pretty
cool.

how do you deal with somebody with no motive or goals other
than to just fuck shit up? perhaps in the future we will see
motive-less terrorists.

Don't worry- it will go down. It's just cos people are
surprised for a film to come out in 2008 which is actually
good.

Plus it's fresh in people's minds.

did everyone see it by august 5?

i dunno i was hyped about it then. i still like it and want
to watch the dvd, but i'm a bit oversaturated with it now.

for a comic book movie that is supposed to be more in line
with sin city and 300 than the hulk and iron man they sure
did enough licensing and merchandising for it.

would people still feel the same about the godfather if al
pacino or marlon brando's face was on a peanut butter cup?
i realize it is a comic book movie still, but c'mon people..

The whole top 250 list at imdb is debatable, it's not a rule
of thumb that's for sure, I don't vote on every movie I
watch but I did vote 9 stars on "Das boot" and that movie
isn't even on the top 50 yet Schindler's List is at #7, my
only justification is that every jew on the planet voted 10
stars on it.

i love it when the joker burns the money, also the heist
scene where everybody shoots each other is genius.
