I was just going to make some pork chops for supper, when I
realized the pork chops i bought just 24 hours ago smelled
rotten. the same store sold me chicken that smelled rotten
last week, and a chicken that smelled rotten in mid
february. this is fucking disgusting. i tell you people,
if you are not sure where your meat is coming from, be
careful. it is pretty fucked up stuff, meat. i'm putting
serious thought into becoming vegetarian... just because
meat can be so fucking disgusting some times.

ya i get sort of paranoid about the quality of my meat too
sometimes.. but i like meat, so i dont think i would become
a vegetarian over my concerns.. they aren't THAT serious
anyway

actually.. now that i think of it: i dont think ive EVER
gotten food poisoning!

(at least if i DID, i didn't know it was from food and
thought i was just sick)

..but even allowing for that, i dont think ive ever gotten
sick from improperly cooked meat/rotten/etc or anything like
that

no, i don't think i've ever had any serious encounters with
food poisoning, but I have seen some fucked up shit... one
time at the restaurant where i work, we found a sea bass
with another fish inside the stomach. the fish was whole.
it was pretty gross. a good filet mignon or tbone is great,
but just the thought of eating meat sometimes totally turns
me off.
