since i upgraded my cd-rw to dvd-rw i can no longer install ut2003 because of some read error (always at the same point/file). Google provided some information:
'Many readers can't cope with the twin sectors inserted into the play cd (in this case cd1) for installation purposes. It's why the blindwrite team recommend that you make a non-bwa copy of the play cd for installation purposes in addition to the bwa copy to play.'
so now i made a copy of the disc using BlindWrite which leaves:
UT2003_CD1.B6I UT2003_CD1 (image file)
on my drive. what do i do with these to make them executable?
btw, when i manually search for the file it can't read, windows does find it, so the disc isn't damaged.
i thhought i might need alcohol120% to somehow process this file but i really dont know for sure. :/
