Going to New York City

My second NY trip. This time I'm not going to hover around
Times Sq so much. I still have some tourist things to see,
like the Statue of Happiness.

I want to see Hove Beach in real life and some of the other
places in Brooklyn, Queens and Bronx.

Lots of photography of course, but other than that..any
suggestions? I've got 10 days.

Don't go.
The aphex twin towers don't exist anymore.

I've got orders for a couple of ipods, so I must. I never
went inside the apple store last time.

Coney Island! Go in the evening, for nice long shadows..

On a television show called 'Pizza Paradise', they showed a
very peculiar pizza parlor. You see, it wasn't just any
pizza parlor.. it was built inside an abandoned church.
Looked real good, too!

Yeah Coney Island is on the list and a bunch of other places
in Brooklyn and Queens. I'm going through photoblogs from
NYC like crazy here. You can see most of the city with
'street level' in google maps, but blogs usually have
something to say about the places too.

Use Superfuture

Some of it's out of date but it's a nice starting point when
you visit most major cities.

Take advantage of the shitty USD. If you don't no worries,
it'll be shit for a long time or until it's wiped out.

definitely hit up Conney island. its a bit of a subway
ride... but wild to see. See the Freakshow... don't feel
bad about spending the money it's pure jokes!

NYC.... definitely go to the meat packing district and visit
some of the galleries there. BUT.... if you only have one
gallery that you can go to .. Visit the Cooper Hewitt
Gallery or the Whitney Museum.

Aside from that... walk everywhere... take lots of pictures.

(looks like the Whitney has a better gallery exhibition
right now)

Thanks, I missed MOMA last year, so I'll start from there. I
went to the Hayden planetarium and AMNH instead.

I'm not sure how far Beacon is from downtown, but they got
an old cracker factory that might be worth your while.
