lol got two copies of this white label given to me quite a while ago, and ripped it to mp3 today. Style? It reminds me of Jez + Super Hans from Peep Show with a Rastafarian rapper. Most of it's pretty shit, but there's a bit of cool dub on the A-Side and some nice lo-fi instrumentals on the B-Side that save me from calling it total shite. But fair play, those vocal tracks are fucking hilarious. |

It really is isn't it? Bar the Dub that starts on Side A at 17 minutes, it's amateur shit. Side B sounds as though it could be semi-listenable, but the uber low quality of whatever it was mastered from (I have a feeling it's a tape -> vinyl transfer, why they'd do that I don't know but there's a strange rewinding sound at the end of Side A. even so, rewinding a tape doesn't require the reading head, so wtf is going on there I don't know) means it sounds like the whole thing's gone through heavy low-pass filtering before getting cut on to vinyl.
